First use Yesterday, Dec. 17/ 2022. Calgary, Alberta, Canada area. ~ -20 deg. C. 38-55 Winchester Single Shot, shooting cast lead bullets. Shot 3 X 10 shot strings, all shots were detected, though the report indicated a rather large spread in velocity. Looking deeper into each string, there were 2 or 3 shots from each group that were lower velocity and they also were the shots with fewer # of detections. Wondering if fewer # of detections will affect accuracy of the indicated velocity ? I'm thinking probably Yes ? Thinking maybe I should delete these shots to get a more accurate report of my results ?
Would -20 deg. C (and windy) have any effect on performance of equipment or results ? I know there was an effect on me in that temp (bare hands and cold steel = frequent warm-ups in the club House).
